Summer in the City Kickoff at the Glass City Metropark Pavilion
Monday, June 17th
5:30-8:00 pm
Join us at the new Glass City Metropark for our annual Summer in the City presented by Owens Corning kickoff party. You’ll hear from community leaders, interact with community organizations, enjoy delicious food from Balance Pan Asian Grille, and maybe even win some prizes!
Toledo Mud Hens Baseball Game at Fifth Third Field
Thursday, June 27th
6:00 pm -End of Game
Enjoy burgers and dogs while cheering on the world-famous Toledo Mud Hens from their newly renovated event space--Klinger’s Korner!
Game Night at Flip the Table
Wednesday, July 10th
6:00-8:00pm
Meet at Toledo’s newest and hottest gaming attraction where you can explore over 400 board games! We’ll also have some good food and beverages for you while you play.
Maumee River Boat Cruise on The Sandpiper Boat
Thursday, July 18th
6:00-8:00 pm
We're on a boat y'all! Enjoy a relaxing and fun river cruise on the Maumee River. The cruise will offer scenic views of the downtown skyline, the high level bridge, Middlegrounds Metropark and the nation's largest outdoor mural-the Glass City River Wall. We'll supply the pizza and soda. BYOB if you are over 21-NO GLASS, please. The boat leaves promptly at 6:00 pm from 1 Jefferson Avenue, Toledo, Ohio
All social events are FREE for any intern registered for the Summer in the City program.
Please RSVP by the deadline for each event. If your plans change and you cannot make it, please let us know ahead of time so we can adjust accordingly.

Development Series
The Development Series offers opportunities for you to improve your personal and professional skills. These one hour sessions are led by community leaders who are experts in their field. These sessions will take place in person and last approximately one hour.
